For tours with scheduled departure dates, you can book directly on our website. On the page of the tour of your choice, simply click on “Book now”. Once you have submitted your booking and entered your credit card details, your place on the tour is reserved. We will contact you the next business day to finalise the booking details and to discuss your tour preferences.

For tours with scheduled departure dates made more than 60 days prior to the tour, a 20% deposit is due at the time of booking. If your booking is made within 60 days of the tour date, full payment is due at the time of booking. For private tours, the payment conditions are different.

In this case, there are two options available:

• OCB offers you the possibility to select an electric bike before starting your tour. If you think that your friends or family members are physically better prepared than you, you can easily keep up with them thanks to our E-bikes. Don’t forget that our tours are not races or competitions, but an adventure to enjoy the road and the breath-taking scenery of the Costa Brava. Our guides always adapt to the average level of the group.
• We have a van as a support vehicle at all times during the tour, if at any time you decide that you can no longer continue due to fatigue, we will pick up your bike and you will finish the rest of the trail in our comfortable support vehicle

For most tours, we need a minimum of three confirmed travellers to guarantee the tour. However, please note that some tours require a higher number of confirmed travellers. If the minimum amount of travellers is not reached for your tour, an additional supplement to the total price of the tour will be required, if you want to pursue the tour. OCB reserves the right to cancel a scheduled date in case no travellers have made a booking, at any time. We strongly recommend that you do not purchase air, train or, other transportation tickets until OCB has confirmed the departure date of your tour and you have confirmed your booking.

Most OCB tours include transfers, all conditions are outlined on each of our itineraries. You will receive recommended times and locations for arrival and departure to and from your tour. OCB offers group transfers in accordance with pick-up and drop-off recommendations. If your arrival by train, flight, or other means of transport does not coincide with OCB’s recommended time or place of departure or arrival, you may be responsible for additional costs incurred in arranging a separate transfer.

Our van will provide support along the day’s route, offer refreshments and collect and of your purchases. Apart from that, the van will also be close to cheer you on and to welcome home tired travellers. You will see the van in action as it slowly moves back and forth along the daily route and occasionally, it will position itself at pre-arranged checkpoints that you pass along the route. Should certain trails not be accessible by vehicle, your guide will pre-schedule the meeting points each morning, allowing you to choose to make your day as long or as short as you’d like. Besides, your guides will always just be a phone call away; we provide all travellers with their mobile phone numbers on the first day of the tour.

On most of our cycling itineraries, non-cycling travellers will be able to explore the best of the region on foot, discovering the local culture, the beautiful corners of the Costa Brava and the many boutiques the area has to offer. Non-cycling travellers also have the possibility to enjoy the Mediterranean Sea and it beaches or the swimming pools and the spas located in each of our hotels. Every evening all travellers reunite to enjoy cocktails and dinners together.

The price of our tours includes accommodation, meals, wine and many interesting activities beyond cycling, so the price per person is the same for cyclists and non-cyclists.

Most of our tours are designed for children over 16 years old. However, if you are interested in bringing children along we will do our best to accommodate them on the particular tour you are interested in. Having said that, the best and easiest option to include younger children would be to book a private tour for your family and/or friends, as the entire tour will then be completely designed to fit all of your requests.

Our prices are based on an occupancy of two guests per room. This typically means two guests travelling together or two guests of the same gender travelling alone who are paired as roommates. In case you don’t want to share your hotel room, you have the option to stay in a private room, which will have an extra charge and affect the initial price.
